Two cabins are shown in halftone while color views show a three-berth cabin, the Dining Room, Main Lounge, and the Swimming Pool. The public rooms were air conditioned but only three of the cabins were. It must have been sweltering in the other thirty-six staterooms while passing through the tropics! There is a very handsome four panel photo of the MONROE in an Asian harbor.
