But before September 1940 was finished, that ship and fleetmate CITY OF SIMLA would be torpedoed and sunk with a great loss of life.

Also included in the brochure is the CITY OF VENICE which would go to the bottom in June 1943. Only CITY OF CANTERBURY and CITY OF HONGKONG would survive the war.
