Class divisions are not shown but included here are four classes - First, Second, and Third. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSLAMAT sailed merrily along her Rotterdam-Batavia route until being drafted in 1940 as a British troop transport. Tragically, she was sunk in 1941 while evacuating British soldiers from Greece. Out of her total complement of 900, two destroyers rescued 700. Not long after, both destroyers were sunk in the continuing German air raids.
