Three well-dressed women are enjoying the warmth of a coal fire. Built-in benches provide padded, but upright, seating. An oil lamp illuminates the cabin along with candles over the mantle. Richly patterned carpet covers the floor. Paneled walls and decorative columns give the feel of a landed gentry's estate house.
