Holland America Line:  A photo-filled brochure from 1933 describing Tourist Class on Holland America Line ships. 

The twenty-page brochure features stylish graphics with orange margins and large photos of Tourist Class public rooms rarely seen so nicely presented.  But what else could they do?  At the depths of the Great Depression all steamship lines had to be imaginative to fill bunks.  “... Holland-America Line ... brings the romance of travel within reach of anyone with vacation leisure and sufficient means to live simply.  It is glorious magic under the inexpressive name of Tourist Class.”
