Product Description

French Line - A deck plan dated 1948 for the combo liner sisters OREGON and WISCONSIN, CGT's Pacific Coast ships from 1930. There was a third sister, WYOMING, but she was lost during the war.

The plan opens to 16" by 20" and shows four decks. Up to fifty passengers could be accommodated. While that number might seem small compared with the big liners, in 1948 the war-damaged French Line was represented by just one passenger liner - the DE GRASSE of 1924 - and two combo liners -OREGON and WISCONSIN. 

OREGON sailed until 1955 while WISCONSIN kept going until age fifty in 1980.
