P&O-Orient Lines: A pair of deck plans from the early 1970s for the much beloved CHUSAN - the largest and fastest British liner designed for the India run.

First Class opens to 22" by 26" and shows five decks. Along one side are b&w photos. Besides a portrait-at-sea, views include the Nursery, Pagoda Room, Marco Polo Room, and the Mandarin Restaurant.

Tourist Class opens to 19" by 26" and also shows five decks. Photos include a portrait, Lounge, Smoking Room, and Restaurant.

As the passenger trade to India diminished in the early 1960s, CHUSAN's range was extended to Australia. As the decade wore on she turned more and more to cruising. Like so many liners, the CHUSAN went to the breakers during the mass-extinction of the oil crisis.
