Panama Line: A rare portrait dish of the ANCON, one of Panama Line's handsome trio from 1939.

The 5.25" by 7.25" china dish features a hand-colored image of the ANCON. On back is the line name along with "Haiti - Panama - Panama Canal Zone".

The ANCON was sold out of the fleet in 1962 to become the STATE OF MAINE training ship for the Maine Maritime Academy. She was broken up in 1973.
