French Line:  A rare deck plan for the VILLE DE TUNIS, French Line's handsome Marseille-to-Tunis ferry.  The plan is dated February 1952 when the mini-liner first went into service.

Five decks are shown in satisfying detail on the large 25" by 35" plan. Typical for Mediterranean ferries of the era, there is a deluxe First Class with public rooms and spacious cabins followed by a Tourist Class, also with public rooms and noticeably smaller cabins.  Fitted into the bow was Fourth Class where passengers slept on deck or in steamy holds.  

The VILLE DE TUNIS sailed for CGT on the route from 1952 to 1967.
