United States Lines - An original and large aerial view of the S.S. UNITED STATES from the Frank Braynard Collection.

The 16" by 20" photo is mounted on a backing board and was originally displayed by Moran Towing, hence their tug in the foreground. Moran often hired photographers to take photos of the ships they serviced. Frank was editor of the Moran house journal "Tow Line" for many years and often brought home for his collection the photos when Moran was finished with them.
