Her foremast is dressed out in signal flags, passengers throng the viewing area above the bridge and, oh my gosh, her still-curing hull paint is badly worn off her bow. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe unknown photographer must have been fascinated by this typical maiden voyage scar as he focused in on the bow for the next four photos, including two that show a sailor precariously balanced on a swinging chair getting ready to repair the damage. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTwo images were taken from the superstructure looking out over the bow as big yank-tanks rumble by on the West Side Elevated Highway.
