French Line:  A deluxe interiors brochure issued for the FLANDRE around the time of her 1952 maiden voyage, a crossing so filled with mechanical calamities that she earned the nickname "Flounder".  The text is in English.
 
This lovely brochure has textured stock covers and a color centerspread featuring the official Marim Marie portrait.  The remaining thirty-six pages show large b&w photos of First and Tourist class interiors.  While her inner workings might have been screwy, her interiors were stunning.  Certainly the FLANDRE was the most stylish intermediate liner on the North Atlantic during the 1950s.  I count thirty-one large b&w photos and twenty-three smaller half-tone ones covering both First and Tourist classes.
