Product Description

Royal Netherlands Steamship Company:  A sixteen-page deck plan and interiors brochure dated 1935 for the "Colon Service" fleet of Koninklijke Nederlandsche Stoomboot Maatschappij (or Royal Netherlands for us English speakers). These ships provided passenger service from Europe to the Caribbean and South American.

The flagship was COLUMBIA, a handsome motorliner from 1930. Seven decks are shown in detail with color-coding for the three classes. Besides a portrait, photos show the First Class Vestibule, Children's Room, and a cabin, plus the Second Class Dining Saloon.

The next two pages cover the COSTA RICA, a veteran from 1910.  There is a photo at sea and a view of the Sports Deck. The color-coded plans show three classes and four decks. 
 
For the SIMON BOLIVAR of 1927,  three decks and three classes are shown on the color-coded plans.  A photo shows the ship's formal lines plus horse racing in the First Class Lounge and a two-berth cabin.
