American Export's \"Verandah Cabins\", so popular on the pre-war FOUR ACES, are reduced to just a handful because the ships were now fully air conditioned. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn 1964 the company sold the two ships to Orient Overseas where they sailed as the ORIENTAL PEARL and ORIENTAL JADE before being scrapped in 1974.
