In 1967 the liner was sold to German Atlantic to become their HANSEATIC. A few years later she experienced her most success run as Home Line's popular DORIC. Later stints included sailing as ROYAL ODYSSEY for Royal Cruise Lines and REGENT SUN for Regency Cruises. And, like many a great ship, she sank while underway to the scrappers.
