This is a great piece of Americana. \u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eDick built the model in the waning days of the great Hudson Day Line boats. Beginning in 1924, the 338' steamer carried up to 3,000 passengers on the scenic route from New York to Albany along the Hudson River. The ALEXANDER HAMILTON closed out the famed Day Line service in 1971 and was retired.
