Ship History: Three pieces of German Lusterware from the early 20th century featuring a busy port scene.

A 9" diameter bowl has scalloped edging while a 5" tall vase shows Oriental influences in the elaborate handle. The port scene is the same on both although, surprisingly, the image is more detailed on the smaller vase. A freighter is building steam while surrounded by small craft. A leaf pattern encircles the vase.

A 4.5" tall vase shows a similar port scene with a two-stack ocean liner.

Stamped on the back of the bowl is "Made in Germany" along with the number 29 which may, or may not, indicate 1929.
