Product Description

Swedish American Line:  From the Frank Braynard Collection, two original Moran Towing publicity photos of the STOCKHOLM as she limped into New York Harbor after her collision with the ANDREA DORIA.

The photo on the left measures 6.5" by 8.5" and is back-marked Moran Towing. Also stamped on back is July 27, 1956, the date the stricken ship arrived at the SAL pier.

The right photo is measures 5" by 7" and shows a Moran tug framed by the wreckage. There are no markings on back other than Braynard's name.

Braynard worked at Moran in the 1960s and saved many photos for his collection. 

Excellent condition.
