Years later, after the war, Home Lines bought the ship and filled in the First Class open promenades, creating dozens of more cabins. She sailed as the ATLANTIC and then went to National Hellenic to became QUEEN FREDERICA. After being lay-up throughout most of the 1970s the ex-MALOLO was swept by fire in 1977 and gutted.
