AKROPOLIS: 1933 - Color interiors & deck plan brochure of ex-SANTA PAULA

Product Description
Typaldos Lines: A color interiors and deck plan brochure from the 1960s for the AKROPOLIS.

The ship was originally the SANTA PAULA of Grace Line fame, a William Francis Gibbs designed beauty from 1933. Typaldos bought the PAULA and sister SANTA ROSA in the early '60s. The AKROPOLIS was all First Class for deluxe cruising.

Besides a color portrait-at-sea, photos show the Georgian Lounge, Ionian Restaurant, Library, and a deluxe cabin.

Fully open (13" by 15.5") reveals plans of seven decks, plus five sample cabin lay-outs.

The AKROPOLIS sailed for Typaldos from 1961 to 1966 and was then laid-up after a tragic ferry sinking which shuttered the fleet.
