No where is there a manufacturer's or artist's mark, a shame because they deserve to take credit for this beauty.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe music box comes from the collection of the late Sandy Hook pilot Captain Joseph Licata. He taped a tag to the underside reading, \"Bought on the DORIC for $25 value on 12\/88 about $65.\" I think he meant to put a coma after \"value\". Both the DORIC and Home Lines were gone by December 1988, He probably bought the music box during the DORIC's heyday in the 1970s for $25, which had increased to $65 by 1988 when he typed out the note.
