Alaska Steamship Line: A 6.75" diameter brochure, die-cut into a circle, for the VICTORIA's 1937 "Above the Arctic Circle" cruises in 1937.

The sixteen-page brochure promotes the ship as "the famous, iron-hulled, icebreaker, S.S. VICTORIA." In actually she was the ex-PARTHIA of the Cunard Line. She took her maiden voyage in 1870 and was iron-hulled because stronger steel did not come along until later.

Plans show three decks and a long, narrow lay-out dating the VICTORIA to much earlier times. Also included are rates, itineraries, a route map, and lots of Alaskan destination photos.
