Cunard Line: A bit of Cunard tradition that was used onboard the QE2 in her early days - a four-piece "cubeware" tea set. This late 1960s or early 1970s item was the last in a series of cubeware tea services dating back to the 1920s.

The set consists of a 3.25" tall by 3.5" square teapot with lid, a 4.5" tall pitcher, a 3" tall pitcher, and a 1.5" tall waste dish. Each piece is trimmed in gold and is stamped on the bottom with the line name and the manufacturer, Myott of Staffordshire, England. As shown in the accompanying photo from around 1970, this style of cubeware was used for tea service in the Queen's Room aboard the QE2.
