There are no class distinctions as in KdF duty the ship was an egalitarian one class, provided you weren't Jewish, homosexual, black, Polish, a gypsy, and a dozen other prejudices.

The ship first sailed in 1913 as North German Lloyd's SIERRA SALVADA for Southern American service. But a year later she was interned in Brazil and seized by the Brazilian government in 1917. A decade later in 1927 Hamburg American Line bought her and changed her name to OCEANA. In 1936 she was rebuilt for one-class cruising for Kraft durch Freude (Strength thru Joy). Although undated, this deck plan was printed at that time.

Good condition.
