LURLINE: 1933 - Deck plan booklet from 1950s

Product Description

Matson Line: An eight-page deck plan brochure from the mid-1950s for the LURLINE.

The brochure opens to a three-panel profile photo of the ship showing off her staunch and upright lines. By this time her original two classes have been done away with and the LURLINE sailed as an all-First-Class ship.

Six decks are shown in detail.  There are also eleven b&w photos of interiors and the decks.

Competition from jets would soon cut into the LURLINE's market and in 1963 she was sold to Chandris who sailed her many more years as the ELLINIS.

Good condition with light wear.
