Chandris Lines: From 1972, a twenty-eight page "Around the World by Sea" brochure promoting Chandris' big three ships - AUSTRALIS, BRITANIS, and ELLINIS.

Joyfully, the 7.5" by 8.5" brochure is all about these classic liners. There are many photos of real passengers enjoying the good life onboard. The brochure was aimed at the British and Australia/New Zealand markets, although the ships did occasionally foray into North American ports.

Each ship gets a two-page spread with sixteen color photos showing public rooms and cabin types. In the AUSTRALIS images you can clearly see the decor and furnishings from the liner's earlier days as United States Lines' AMERICA of 1940. The Matson Line origins of the BRITANIS (MONTEREY of 1932) and ELLINIS (LURLINE of 1933) are visible in the famed Lanai Suites which in some cases were turned into four-berth family cabins.
