First, the menus. Dated August 17 and 19, the menus are the deluxe versions with fold-out art panels. Artwork featured on the 17th was a section of Constantin Alajalov's "The Night Club", found on the ceiling of the First Class Cocktail Lounge. The fold-out on the 19th highlighted Griffith Baily Coale's "The Family Tree", a mural showing the evolution of ship designs found in the Library and Writing Rooms.

"The Ocean Press" newspapers cover five of the seven days of the crossing. Newsy items include rioting at a Canadian penitentiary and the sale by Alaska Steamship of the VICTORIA, the oldest ship in the American Merchant Marine that first sailed as Cunard's PARTHIA in 1870.
