A seven-day cruise started at $59.50.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA huge lake boat was expensive to operate and by 1938 C\u0026amp;B was bankrupt. A new company, the Cleveland and Buffalo Transit Co. of Illinois, bought the SEEANDBEE and started full-time cruising as reflected in this brochure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1941 the SEEANDBEE's superstructure was sheered off and a flight deck added. During WW2 thousands of budding pilots learned take-offs and landings on her deck, including future U.S. president George H. Bush.
